Pine Tree Wind

.
"My old friend lives on East Mountain
Treasuring the beauty of the valleys and hills.
Spring now green, he lies in empty woods,
Still sound asleep under a midday sun.
A pine tree wind dusts his sleeves and coat,
Gurgling brooks clean his heart and ears.
No clamor, no confusion – all I want is
This life pillowed high in emerald mist."
